Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) rule 2014
has made it mandatory for profit-making corporations in India to spend 2% of the
average net profit of the last three Financial Years for socio-economic
development of marginalized communities in Rural and urban areas. Corporates
always look for credentialed grassroots organizations to implement impactful
projects through their CSR funds. Mahapreit Start-up Knowledge Center (MSKC)
collaborates with such corporations through impactful innovative projects to
benefit less privileged people.
MSKC, with support from Corporate CSR funding
has initiated various projects for benefitting marginalized and other
communities. Being an experienced organization promoted by MAHAPREIT and
MPBCDC, the Government of Maharashtra MSKC has a presence in Rural and urban
areas. Coordination with local Government authorities is easier compared to
other private social organizations. The CSR program's objective is to benefit
less privileged people through livelihood programs, skill development, and
technology promotion.
The below listed projects are planned with CSR
funding support from like-minded corporates.
